Nuts help to slow down the assimilation process in the body which helps the sugar and the fats to process effectively.

Bananas – Bananas are rich in vitamin B6, vitamin- C, and potassium and is one of the essential healthiest foods for men’s wellbeing. Lack of vitamin B6 can lead to loss of energy and fatigue. Make sure to add a couple of bananas to your everyday diet to help keep your energy levels high. It contains potassium too, that helps avoid muscle cramps and helps in maintaining blood pressure. They also contain anti-inflammatory properties that help to keep muscles and joints remain pain-free through the day.

Tomatoes – A few slices of tomatoes a day can equip you with a host of minerals and vitamins your body requires to stay healthy. Tomatoes have also been found to contain plenty of antioxidants which are great to keep prostate cancer at bay.

Broccoli is rich in vitamins A, C and E and also contains potassium and magnesium, which helps to stabilize blood pressure. It is also known to have anticancer properties that are helpful in fighting off colon and prostate cancer. Broccoli contains folic acid, that men require extensively. If you are not very fond of broccoli, you can go for other Cruciferous options such as cauliflower, cabbage or Brussels sprouts.

Whole grains – Foods such as brown rice, wheat berries and other whole grains contain a good amount of fiber, vitamins, minerals, flavonoids and phytonutrients. Apart from taking care of your heart, these are excellent to help avoid some cancers and keep your digestive tract well maintained.
